Natchez, Mississippi
A championship golf course nestled along picturesque Second Creek — just 3 miles south of Natchez off Hwy 61 South.
Our Story
Back in 1998, a group of founding members enlisted the services of course architect Mike Young to design and route their new Club. What he created was a perfect blend of nature's bliss and the challenge of the game.
The course is set on rolling hills and features a variety of water hazards and bunkers. The greens are undulating and can be difficult to putt on. Despite its challenges, Beau Pré Country Club is a fair course that rewards good play. The course is well-maintained, and the greens are always in good condition.
Beau Pré ("beautiful meadow") has preserved the natural setting and features a dramatic ninety-foot sheer clay bluff, deep ravines, abundant wildlife and rolling terrain.
We are a member-owned Club that welcomes unaccompanied play from guests that reside outside the counties and parishes of Adams, Jefferson, Franklin, Wilkinson and Concordia. Guests residing locally are welcome, limited to five rounds per year.
Unaccompanied guest fees: $60 per player — includes 18 holes, shared cart, tax, and use of the practice facility.
Tee times are available Tuesday through Sunday, up to 30 days in advance. Call (601) 442-8181 to reserve. We are closed on most Mondays.

Hole by Hole
"Courant Sec"
Tough opener. A right-center drive in this wide fairway gives the best angle to a small green guarded by a bunker, lateral hazards and OB. Par is a well-earned score at the 1st hole.
Handicap 3
"Gauche à Droite"
Slightly uphill hole shaped left to right. A left-center tee shot with driver or 3 wood is the ticket. Try to keep your short iron approach below the hole or face a slick, tricky putt.
Handicap 15
"Dessiner"
Challenging slight dogleg left. Finding the fairway here is at a premium with red stakes flanking both sides. Green complex allows a safe bail right with left and short well-guarded.
Handicap 1
"Facile"
Appealing Par 3 nestled next to a pond short and left. The green is the largest on the course. Keep it below the hole for a good look at birdie.
Handicap 17
"Longue"
Longest hole at Beau Pré CC. Keep it in the fairway off the tee. Navigate around the two massive fairway bunkers to yield a short approach to a shallow, elevated and slopy putting surface.
Handicap 9
"En Descendant"
A beautiful downhill Par 4. Take driver or 3 wood right down the chute. Your approach shot is to a striking, picturesque green complex that is difficult to read. Short of the green here is a sin.
Handicap 13
"Précis"
Proves a tough Par 3 from the Blue or Black tee. Elevated, shallow green demands you choose the right club. Slightly long is a better option than short, which is riddled with trouble.
Handicap 11
"Lac Serein"
Challenge the left side of fairway to get home in two at the 8th. Players laying up should take plenty of club to clear the lake. Take note of hole location with this very long green.
Handicap 7
"Contre le Vent"
A demanding hole that normally plays into prevailing winds. Aim your tee shot right-center. Your mid-iron approach is to a tiered green elevated left. Par wins most times at the 9th.
Handicap 5
"Trois Coups"
A three-shot hole. Fairway runs out about 240–250 yards from the back tee. Avoid the fairway bunkers on your second shot to set up a wedge approach to a deep green divided by a spine.
Handicap 6
"Tombe de Sable"
Choose your strategy on the tee. The goal is to avoid the massive fairway bunker in the middle. Approach is to a green long and diagonal to the line of play — the 11th gives many players fits.
Handicap 4
"Tentant"
Picturesque, short, risk-reward par 4. Take a driver or 3 wood to go for it. The conservative play is a layup that avoids the fairway bunkers, then attack the flag with a wedge shot.
Handicap 14
"Montée"
A nice looking hole running parallel to the mighty Second Creek. Avoid missing right in the creek or short in the bunker. The putting surface features major undulation that yields a few 3-putts.
Handicap 8
"Exigeant"
Toughest test at Beau Pré CC. Elevated fairway calls for a left-to-right tee shot toward the towering Red Oak through the fairway. Small, elevated green demands precision with trouble surrounding it.
Handicap 2
"Trou Cape"
Beautiful right-bending cape hole from an elevated tee. Keep your tee shot short of Allen's Pot Bunker. The green has a high point in the middle that makes it tough to stick your approach. Still, many birdies here.
Handicap 12
"Soit Prudent"
Beau Pré's signature hole — a tough test. The green sits on a peninsula with hazard guarding it left, long and right. Caution with certain hole locations is essential. Small misses are amplified at the 16th.
Handicap 10
"Falaise"
Straightaway par 4 on the banks of the Second Creek. Take your tee shot straight down Broadway. Your middle-to-short iron approach is to a small green. Keep it out of the waste bunker right and long.
Handicap 16
"Fin Glorieuse"
A fine Par 5 finisher. Long hitters reach easily in two with this hole normally downwind. Keep it in play here with OB left and Second Creek right. Lots of birdie finales at the 18th.
Handicap 18
